Community Engagement

Living in the information age has brought certain expectations between the people and the government who serves them. Law enforcement is no exception. People expect timely yet accurate information and the ability to interact with their elected officials. I plan to utilize social media and news media to keep the public informed about your Sheriff’s Office, public safety announcements, situational updates, and the great work being conducted by our heroes.

Many police agencies have utilized existing technologies to better serve the public and manage costs. I also plan to roll-out an online mechanism that would allow the public to report a minor crime via the Sheriff’s Office website for investigative follow-up.
