The function of patrol is the backbone of any law enforcement agency to keep and make for a safer community. Patrol places marked units on public roads and places to act as a deterrent to criminal activity and promotes voluntary compliance of the traffic laws by the motoring public. The main goal of patrol is to save lives. The most effective way to save lives on our public roads is to patrol areas that experience high crash rates and high call volume.

As your Sheriff, I will utilize analytical data on crashes and calls to drive a patrol program to help keep our county safer.
